What is Sandbox?

Sandbox is a desktop progression layer for NBA 2K MyNBA and MyLeague players on PC. It turns offline franchise play into a long-term, RPG-style experience where player performance feeds directly into growth, upgrades, and league storytelling.

How does it work?

After you play games in NBA 2K, you enter your box score stats into Sandbox. The app converts that performance into progression rewards — XP, upgrade currency, milestones — and lets you spend them on meaningful player improvements. When you apply your upgrades, Sandbox automatically writes the earned changes back into NBA 2K on PC: body data, vitals, attributes, badges, and animations.
